Sorry to bother you, but I’ve run into a rather frustrating issue — the XOR result is not clean.
I have confirmed that
- the database units (dbu) are the same,
- both layouts are flattened,
- the polygon coordinates are identical,
- all shapes are rectangles.

Please put in some effort to create a minimal working example.
You can use select/delete/undo delete and "save only visible layers" to create small testcases from the largest of chips.
And be more specific in your reporting.
Are you using Tools->XOR and if so, what settings ?
Or are you using the drc engine ? In which case, show what runset you're using.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I used the Tools → XOR function.
The XOR settings were:
1. Only in visible layers
2. No tolerance
3. Send marker to other layout
I have confirmed that in Edit mode, when selecting “Edit → Selection → Layer Boolean” and choosing XOR, the result is clean.
PS: The same area and the same layer were used.
Although this approach resolves the issue, I still find it a bit strange.
Well, if you see differences where there shouldn't be any, then I wouldn't consider the issue resolved at all.
Please create a small one layer testcase that allows one to reproduce the issue.
Thank you again for your help. I’ll share a minimal reproducible case as soon as possible, following the company’s regulations.
