nother question :(smile): I have an error message while trying to create new instance ( see the attached picture) , do you have an idea of the issue , i suppressed and reinstalled the program , but the error is still appearing !
"scaling factor" must not be 0. That is what the message eventually means. The scaling factor usually is 1, sometimes it's smaller or larger. By 0 does not make sense.
Reinstallation does not help as the configuration remains and the values you entered are not removed. To really clean you installation remove the "klayoutrc" file (c:\users\you\KLayout\klayoutrc on Windows or ~/.klayout/klayoutrc) on Linux.
