DRC: group adjacent triggers?

Dear Matthias,

For my (photonic) designs, I often have multiple adjacent edge-pairs that trigger the same design rule violation. It would be nice if such violations could be grouped to generate a single message. Is something like that possible?

    Hi Xaveer,

    have you tried to convert the edge pairs to polygons and then merge them - i.e. like "ep.polygons.merged"?

    The resulting shape will be a big polygon, but still be useful as an error marker.
