2.5d view by ruler box
Hi,
Is it possible to implement for the 2.5d view a new feature that just an area of e.g. a ruler box will be displayed and not the complete layout?
The method would be similar like it is implemented in the cross-section package.

May be currently visible layout (== zoom area) be more intuitive than ruler?
I agree that would be better
