Merging Object with Pcell

Hello,
I am finding trouble merging a Pcell i created (or a Pcell from the library, circle for instance) with a polygon/object that i drew freehand. Is there a way to do that ? I tried convenrting Pcells to static, but still doesnt seem to work. I have the same error message "Primary selection doesnt contain polygons". Any help pls ?

    Hello,

    You cannot merge cells, only shapes, so you have to flatten your instances first (Pcells and static cells):

    1) Select the instances > Edit > Selection > Flatten instances
    2) Select the shapes > Edit > Selection > Merge shapes
