We also disabled all security measures that could potentially block access but issue remains. So latest rpm installed on CentOS7 installation. Home drive is on nfs. If there is anything I can do to debug, let me know.

Correct that is exactly what I did (well one of the IT guys installed the packages for me on my workstation). We will do another experiment with temporarily disabling some security measures (we trust you Matthias :smile: ) Will keep you posted.

Removed my ~/.klayout/klayoutrc file and it works again. Now I get a field inside the search window with the results. It's exactly as I hoped for. I send the file to Mathhias with a testcase to debug.

It's 17 now. Using the button on the left did not work for me. I had to search klayout on facebook and like it there. That might explain the low number of likes.
