[Feature request] Allow multiple selection of cells in the cell browser
Hi Matthias,
I am hereby requesting a feature to be able to select multiple cells in the cell window. This to allow e.g. hiding of a set of cells, instead of having to disable them one by one.
If possible the Microsoft way of selecting would be nice. That is e.g. holding CTRL and left clicking mouse adds or removes items from the selection. And holding SHIFT allows users to determine the end of a selection.
Hope you see the benefit of this, if you need more info, let me know.

Hi Nick,
that is possible already, but that functionality is hidden in the "Select Cell" dialog (Display->Select Cell). In that dialog you can also hide and show cells but here you can select multiple cells.
I admit that is far from being intuitive, but at least that should make your life easier.

Indeed your method via "Select Cell" works. I you can find time in the future, it would however be nice to directly be able to select multiple cells. I guess that is more intuitive as you already describe. Thanks for showing the alternative via "Select Cell".
