netlist command in DRC run is very slow and single threaded

I'm building this rule deck that uses the connectivity spacing checks solution that you have provided. I'm facing a problem with the speed of the "netlist" command in the DRC context on large layout.
Not sure if there is a way to make the netlist command multi-threaded. Please keep in mind that there is no devices in the DRC run.

@Matthias , I forgot to mention that it takes too much memory as well not sure why.

Are you using "deep" mode? Netlist generation in flat mode is indeed slow and will use a lot of memory as the nets are flattened.
