Error Message CenterRuler plugin (update from 0.28.xx to 0.29.12)

Hi @Matthias,

since the update from 0.28.xx to 0.29.12 a script error occurs when clicking on the button of the CenterRuler plugin in the task bar.
As you are not the originator of this plugin, I don't expect you to dive deep into this. Just want to raise awareness that the update could have caused some bugs in some python scripts.

    Honestly I don't want to debug 3rd party scripts.

    And yes, API changes happen. I am trying to keep them as backward compatible as possible, but sometimes the behavior changes in boundary cases.

    Hi Matthias,

    I totally understand. Your work is very much appreciated and in general I always look forward to the updates and new features. Maybe the feature of snapping to the center of an object could be implemented for the native ruler in future updates. It would be very helpful.
