Is there a way to have statistics about a cell (layer area most important)?

ie. Cell A - Layer1 - 803.6 um2 - Layer2 - 242.367um2 - Layer3 - 1663.209um2, etc

Hi,

there is no build-in function for that, but it's possible to code that in a script.

The "Useful script samples" may serve as a starting point (http://www.klayout.de/useful_scripts.html#calc_area_hier.rbm).
