additional layers visibility problem
Hello All,
I tried to read-in a new GDS file, that was created based on original layout with 2 additional layers added.
One of the functions of Klayout makes it possible to automatically add new layers. In my case however this functionality doesn't update the layer stack.
Did anyone of you face the same issue?

Hi Ania,
Your description is somewhat short, so I can just guess. "Add new layers" can be used together with a layer properties (.lyp) file that contains some layers, but maybe not all. All layers not given in the .lyp file will then be added. It that your use case?
If those layers don't appear, the first question to ask is whether those layers really contain any shapes. If they don't they simply do not exist, since in GDS a layer only exists if there is at least one shape on it.
