Crashed on changing grid setting

Hi Matthias,

We tried to change the grid setting from main window => View => Grid, and the program crashed with the following messages.

embedded: [BUG] Segmentation fault
ruby 1.8.7 (2009-06-12 patchlevel 174) [x86_64-linux]

We expreimented several steps, and found that when we change the value in main window => File => Setup => Grid tab, it works fine(from 0.01um to 0.001um), if change it from 0.001um to 0.01um in toolbar menu, it also works; then do it from 0.01um to 0.001um again in toolbar menu, it crashed.

The conclusion is that klayout would crash with the following conditions:
1. From 0.01um to 0.005um/0.001um or from 0.005um to 0.001um.
2. In main window toolbar menu

Could you please help to check if it's our environment setting issue or klayout's bug? Thank you so much~

    Hallo,

    I can't reproduce it on my build. I have seen similar problems on some Qt versions (i.e. 4.6.0), but they should be fixed.

    Can you tell me what Qt version you are using? Which KLayout version are you using?

    It would be helpful if you could send me the configuration file (~/.layviewrc) to the mail address given on the contact page.

    Hi Matthias,

    After we upgraded the Qt4 version from 4.3.1-12 to 4.3.4-6 or 4.4.3-1, the problem is no longer there,
    it seems to be the bug of Qt4, thank you so much~
