Draw box function not working

Hi,
My Klayout suddenly started to sdo something wierd. When I try drawing box on empty regions of a layer, the box is not created. However if I draw over other polygons on same layer, the whole layer gets clipped to the box I just drew. Is this because some settings have changed? Please help.

    Oops!! Wrong background combination mode :P Works fine now
    Now I dont know how to delete this discussion!
