KLayout windows uninstaller wiped out entire directory with all data (non KLayout files as well)

I installed Klayout on Windows 7 (64-bit) under 'Documents' directory by accident. I wanted to uninstall it and the re-install it in other location. During uninstall process, it DELETED ALL Data from 'Documents' directory. All folders/sub-folders are gone. It is not even in 'recycle bin' to recover. There is no trace of the data on the system.

Any suggestions? Not sure if anyone has run into same issue. I would hope that uninstaller can be made smart enough to not touch non Klayout files...

    Sorry folks, this is NOT my business. I won't figure out how to make it "smart". I have better things to do.

    1.) Simply store your data in the usual places (Documents, shares wherever). Why using the installation folder for your data?

    2.) This is OPEN SOURCE. If you don't like it, you're free to change it. Just drop me your improved installer script and I'll be happy to use it.
