Matthias,
I have found a bug in your software where the Layer map files (.lyp) created in v23.8 are not able to be read by v22.7. I'm not looking for you to correct this, I just wanted to bring it to your attention.
I must say that your software is great, easier to use and more versatile than other layout tools I've used. I use it nearly daily compared to my companies "primary" layout tool, the big C. I am more of a lurker and observer on the forum now, but hope I can share my own macros and ruby modules as they develop.
Thank you.

Hi Mark,
thanks for this feedback and for mentioning the compatibility issue.
However, backward compatibility was not the initial design goal of the .lyp format. The 0.22.x version was not ignoring unknown keywords, so it chokes on the new "valid" flag. This has been improved in 0.23, but I don't necessarily guarantee backward compatibility.
Regards,
Matthias
