Hi,
Was playing with klayout(latest dev snapshot). Just two points(could be user error on my part) ...
1. I had two layout open in the same panel for XOR, If I go to File>Close Panel, it seems to open new tabs every time I select 'Close Panel'. The option File>Close works fine.
2. When I look at XOR results, by default all XOR results are highlighted in blue(selected). The only way to unselect them(and select one) seems to be to scroll down all the way to end of xor results, click on blankspace there, which deselects everything and then I am able to select individual xors as required.

Hi,
regarding the first comment, it's probably my fault to place those two menu items so close to each other :-)
It's actually not "Close Panel" but "Clone panel" (with a "n"). So basically it creates an exact copy of the current panel which explains why new tabs keep appearing ...
