How to convert "klayout drc report format" to "rve db format"

Hi,
Thank you for the great tool.
I have a question during the use of this helpful tool.

Is there any way to convert "klayout drc report format" to "rve db format"?
I would like to run DRC by klayout and explore markers on the source OA data. So I need to use rve.

    Hi elgoog,

    welcome to the forum :-)

    Right now there is no way to save RVE data from the DRC function, except if you code that export yourself.

    But there is a workaround that may be helpful: instead of writing RVE you could write an OASIS or GDS file. RVE supports overlaying of layouts, so I think you can overlay this layout with the OA data.

    BTW: There is no OA support in KLayout, because their license model is incompatible with GPL. Sorry.
