I'm often confronted with GDS2 stream files, that have the extension .sf or .sf.gz
Is there a way, to add those to the default ones in the load dialogs? I didn't find any reference to file extensions in the klayoutrc file.
Thank you,
Michael
I'm sorry, but the file extensions are pretty hardcoded in the code.
On Windows you can add these extensions to be handled by KLayout. So a double-click on the file in the Explorer will open it. When opening a file, KLayout will analyze the file header to find it's format, so the extension does not matter. But to see it in the file dialog by default will require a patch of the code. Or a separate, script-coded menu function.
