Saving pointers

I would like to be able to include pointers in my gds output but whenever I reopen a layout after saving the pointers are gone.

    Hi,

    what do you mean by "pointers"? Rulers/arrows?

    These are not part of GDS files but are pure annotations. You can save rulers as "sessions" (File/Save Session).

    Yes by pointers I mean rulers and arrows. Save session does exactly what I want. I can then exchange the session file with other designers to highlight the features I want them to zoom in on.
