How to use “demofab_klayout_colors.lyp”

I am using Nazca for some gds file generation. There are some scripts in the Tutorial section of Nazca, where it is mentioned that “Use demofab_klayout_colors.lyp to view the mask in KLayout”.

I am not sure how to do this step. Can anyone help me with this I am very new to GDS file generations.

There are several ways to use a .lyp file with a layout.

Use File => Load Layer Properties menu.
Drag and drop a .lyp file into the main canvas.
Prepare a companion .lyp file.

eg.

Design file: ABC.gds
Companion LYP file: ABC.lyp

They exist in the same directory and share the same base name.
