Boolean operations on Layers

I have some GDS Files that I want to do some boolean operations on the layers. For example, one layer is the diffusion layer and one is the NPLUS layer. I want to make a new layer that ANDs these two layers together.

Can KLayout do this?

    OK I figure that out, I had to switch to editing mode and then restart. Sorry for asking the question.

    Hi Oliver,

    no need to be sorry. You're not the first one to make that mistake ... :-)

    I admit, it's not quite intuitive. I am seriously thinking about using "Editor" as the default ...
