Drawing box

Hi, when I draw a box, it becomes a polygon with four corners. This makes it hard for me to access the box properties (height and width) which I wish to edit. Instead I have to edit the coordinates of the corners.

    Problem solved by switching background combination mode back to 'add'.

    That is why a warning pops up every time you start KLayout in "non-add" mode :-)

    I have the same problem : how to fix it in the settings ?
    I don't run KLayout with non-add switch.

    Hi Laurent,

    It's not a switch. It's the mode selection menu right of the ruler tool button.
