Save only 1 layer of a huge layout

Hello,
I have a huge layout with many layers and I just want to save the layout with only 1 layers.
I cannot select and delete all other layers, because of too many shapes.
Is there a simple trick to save only 1 layer of a whole layout ?

    Right click on the layer in the layer list.

    "Hide all but this"

    File, Save as, "Visible layers only"

    Does that work?
