Rotate / Flip Function

Hello Matthias, Everyone,

Is there such a function? I have a problem finding it if there's any.
From time to time, I encounter GDSII files that I need to rotate or flip depending on the succeeding activities. It will be very useful if there's a function like this.

    Hi, the flip/rotation can be done by selecting the data, then go through the Edit >> Selection menu.

    There, you should see various options for flip and rotate. -Ken

    Just a note from my side: in the upcoming 0.22 version there will be a way to flip/rotate just the view - that is, the layout is shown flipped for example, but the file itself will not change.

    Maybe that will be helpful in certain applications, for example to mimic the backside view of a chip.

    Hello Ken. Thanks for the input but the routine looks heavy especially of I have to flip the entire chip.
