In almost all other software products, Ctrl+S is the shortcut for saving a file.
But in KLayout, Ctrl+S causes to disappear the current cell. Why this strange behaviour? I think, this is counterintuitive.
In addition, as I see, in KLayout is not any shortcut for saving a file.

You can customize the keys the way you want to have them using "File/Setup", "Application/Customize Menu" page.
Didn't ctrl-S, ctrl-Q use to have some low level
UNIX function, like stop / start TTY scrolling?
Might be some unintended "overlaps" there....
The original defaults are like 15 years old. Maybe by there there was no such convention as Ctrl+S being "Save". But I don't recall.
