Selection
Hello Matthias.
In order to not select instances, I unbox "Instances" in Edit > Select. This works fine in "Select" and "Move" Mode (drag mouse over the right side in screenshot below),
but in "Partial mode" (drag mouse over the right side in screenshot below), the instances do get selected???

Wonder whether this has to do with "Partial (move/stretch) being
"two for one" (select, and follow cursor) and maybe that selection
does not pay attention to modal setting (it's acting differently, on
different features).
Curious whether this also happens if you use the Move without a
preceding selection, if you click or drag-select an instance object?
Preceding selections are taken as is - but the partial mode should not select Instances if they are not checked.
I confirmed, 0.28.10 does not do so and I think this was bug https://github.com/KLayout/klayout/issues/1302 that was fixed in 0.28.6.
