Dumb (error report) Question #0002

Sticking to a check-line syntax from the legit docs,
script evidently runs without error, creates a DRC[]
"thingy" in the report window. But I get nothing that
looks like an error (neither on a clean layout, or one
I added a defect to) in the browser pane, and I see
no reference to the declared "report = ("MET_DRC_report")
in the browser.

If "MET_DRC_report" is some internal report name,
how to find?

If "MET_DRC_report" is some external file name, where
to look?

What should be expected in an error browser window
when there are no errors? I don't see a "No Errors" of
any sort, how can I tell whether there's "Clean" vs
"I just got lost and saw nothing" execution?

    Hi Jim,

    here is the difference:

    1. Without errors:

    Collapsed:

    Expanded:

Without "Show all" (right-click on categories list):

    2. With errors:

    Collapsed:

    Expanded:

Without "Show all" (right-click on categories list):

So if you want to get a quick feedback, uncheck "Show all" and if the window is empty, there are no errors :)

    Matthias
